I had a great view over Himeji from the castle. I took this photo from the last floor of the castle, trough a window so small I had to remove my lens hood!

    Amazing how you can see the rare old city structure and the main street below the palace. Nowdays that kind of street is seen in front of the train stations (ekimae).
