Today me and my friends from Montreal, Ika & Jess, went biking and rollerblading around the Kanda Gawa and Nakano residential area. We brought two camera, the wide angle shoots are film with my Tokina 11-16 hook on the D90 and all the rest are from their KODAK Zi8 pocket cam. All the editing was done by Ika, and I have to say he did a fawking good job! They are here only for a few more days and you should go check out their blog about their trip in Tokyo if you haven’t done so yet.
My friends Esse & Ika made a really cool video of them rollerblading from Nakano station to our house in Shinjuku, short, sweet, smooth, it definitely worth it! Go check out their blog for more photos and video of their trip in Tokyo.
“I love Japan, this was my 5th time there. I was there for a month and enjoyed it immensely as always. I stayed with my awesome Japanese friends! Tokyo is amazing and I find new places to explore every time I’m there. There are lovely places to relax and other places that excite the senses! It’s a wonderful mix of it’s ancient past & the future the rest of world will see in it’s own time.
I found this great skateboard video today on vimeo, it very smooth and relax, enjoy!
“I don’t intend for this to be viewed as just another skate video. I think we tend to forget and lose ourselves in a word filled with competition, money and politics. It’s not about tripods, rails, or half pipes. nor is it about trying to cram as many tricks into a clip as you can. This is Beyond that. This takes it back to the Basics, the reason we all started to do what we do. For the love of what we do, because it’s a passion, and to put it quite simply, for fun. This video is meant to take you on a Visual Journey. My Interpretation of a place i once called Home myself. Tokyo!” - 13thWitness™ on Vimeo.
