This is the southern part of Shinjuku, it has a lot of nice restaurants and fun fun game stations ( arcades ). There is also a nice camera shop that sells used lens and SLR. They don’t have as good deal as fujiya camera in Nakano, but it always nice to drop by and see what they have in stock.
A young Japanese girl university student is taking a nap in the grass just outside the school. It was sweating hot outside I don’t know how she could stay there in the sun without dying of a heat stroke. Is it a hot summer now in your country or are you enjoying something more mild than Tokyo?
The other day I had some time to waste in Shinjuku and I got pretty lucky. I was walking around the small street east of the station, and then I decided to go up the stairs near the Takashimaya to reach the southern terrace. And then only for a few minutes the sky color change to a bright orange as if it just burst on fire. Took out my cam, found a nice spot to set it on a fix position and took 3 shoot to create this HDR.

Golden Gai is very quiet during the day, but never the less, it doesn’t lack personality.
I’ve discover a new ventage point in Shinjuku! This was taken on the 28th floor of the L Tower Building. I want to get a night shot, but the elevators stop at 7:00pm. I guess I will have to wait in fall.

From any building in Shinjuku, Tokyo goes as far as the eye can see.
This dog was so huge, old and tired. Everyone passing by were taking photos of him, but he didn’t care, all he wanted was to sleep.
