Kaijin is a Japanese toys designer, one of my favorite also. His design are clean and polish. You can really feel the transition from the 2d illustration to the 3d sculpture. His toys are very rare, especially outside Japan. Not only are they not available outside the country, but they are also run in very limited editions. Especially for the newer toy that he hand paint him self. Check his gallery for more awesomeness!

The last 8 inches Dunny release from kidrobot is the Meltdown by Chris Ryniak, that we first saw in the Apocalypse series. Kidrobot really did something special this time, instead of having a regular model and a chase, they casted four different colour and made them available in completely different stores. The Yellow one was available online at kidrobot.com, the green one in kidrobot retail store, the pink one in speciality store in the US, and finally the orange one in speciality store out side US. The last one was not so hard to find, since I just had to go to my local designer toy store in Montreal, but I also really wanted the pink one, so I had to go on ebay for it. It was totally worth it though, they look so nice.

The orange one looks like it is burning hot, the pink looks sweet and delicious like candy!

Oh, did I mention they also glow in the dark!

I started to play Pokemon White again, and since I pick the male character on my first playthrough, I decided to give the female protagonist a try. Of course there is absolutely no difference gameplay wise and it barely affect the story too. So while looking at this small pixilated character, I was wondering if there was any cosplayer of this pokemon trainer. I don’t even know why I even wonder for a seconds if there was anyone who gave it a go, it full of great costume out there!

Did you know there is a Pokemon Black/White anime series in Japan?

Kidrobot has annonce they will release more StreetFighter mini figure in a 2-pack form. One blind and one visible. Pretty neat especially if you want all the main characters and don’t care so much about chase. I think it all the same characters as the first series, maybe there will be some new chase, but I don’t expect anything else that different coating. I usually don’t really like it much when kidrobot do collab with mainstream stuff, like The Simpsons ( even though I LOVE Simpsons ) but for some reason I dig the SF minis. Plus it a cool thing to try to get more people interested in vinyl & collector toys. So no new character this time, but I heard from very confidential and trustable sources that  series 2 is coming soon after the two packs. I have no details, but hopefully we will see some world fighter from SF3 and SF4. I hope we will get Crimson Viper or Ibuki.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is coming out later this month. I will wait until the reviews are out to decide if I will play it our not. Usually I play all Final Fantasy without even thinking about it. But this is a online FF, so it could be much more time consuming, and there’s that monthly fees that kinda force you to play the game, and this game only. I know that the first version of FF XIV as horrible, but I find it very interesting that for the first time ever, a developper decide to go back to the drawing board, and re-ship the same game that was out two years ago with brand new redesign gameplay and mechanics.

Is this really a cake? Will they really smash this magnificient piece of art to eat it? According the the youtube description, some lucky girl had this masterpiece for her 10th birthday. It a recreation of skyloft, the main village in the skyward sword. I remember I had a cake shape like a ninja turtle face when I was 10th and I went crazy, I can’t imagine the reaction of that little girl.
