I spend one day in Nagoya and I have to say it a charming city, contrary to what everyone says in Tokyo. Of course it really small, and there is pretty much just one little downtown, but there is many good restaurants and if shopping mall is your thing, there is miles of it underground. By the way the first photo was taken far from downtown more in the suburbs of Nagoya.
